With increasing interest in the surgical management of rectal cancer using minimally invasive techniques, the current debate focuses on TA-TME, Laparoscopic TME and Robotic TME as possible solutions to this difficult problem. With the support of world-renowned experts on colorectal cancer minimally invasive surgery, the Champalimaud Foundation will hold a meeting on May 15th and 16th 2017, at the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown in Lisbon:

The format of the meeting will include state-of-the-art lectures given by distinguished international faculty members in collaboration with our local team and live cases showing global experts demonstrating TA-TME, Laparoscopic TME and the Robotic approach. We seek to have highly interactive discussions between the participants and experts during the course of these two days.
